What Is DoctoberFest?

DoctoberFest is the newest film event from The Chambana Film Society, who also bring you The Savoy Lumière The CineSonic Music Film Festival, and The Savoy Arthouse. Celebrating all things documentary, the festival is somewhat geared towards documentaries that don’t follow the conventional form of talking head documentaries, and might lean a little bit more towards the quirky, silly, and fun.

Where and when is The Savoy Lumière held?

As with almost all of our events, DoctoberFest will be held at The Phoenix Savoy 16 + IMAX (232 Burwash Ave. Savoy, IL 61874). Screenings are currently scheduled for October 2, 8-12, 17, and November 1. Yes, even though that’s not in October.

What films are playing, and when?

At the time of this writing, DoctoberFest is expected to have 13 features films, and one short film. We are expecting to add 1 – 3 more screenings before we are finished. How much are tickets, and how do I purchase them?

Individual screening tickets are available for $12 each.

In lieu of a full festival badge, we are sticking with our last festivals off of a 10-pack of tickets for $100. Simply put 10 tickets in your cart, and a discount will be automatically applied. (There’s actually a secret hack here, if you put any extra tickets in your cart above 10, it will apply the discount to each additional ticket.
